Star Spangled Floral

Includes the 15 buttons shown in the photo.  These hand-dyed and handmade clay buttons can be used to finish any needlework project.  Free instructions are also included to complete the project shown, finished in a 3" embroidery hoop.  You provide the fabric, floss and hoop.  

The same buttons can be used to embellish Ewe Look Fabulous! pincushion as shown in the second photo.  The pincushion pattern is found here.  And the Flag Pini-Mini is sold solo here--and in several of the Pin-Mini assortments.

Tips and illustrations are included for adding embroidery stitches with pearl cotton #8 or 3 strands of embroidery floss. We love the hand-dyed pearl cotton from Weeks Dye Works and use it for all our models in the FOLKfloral series.

Note about the hoops:

We stock 3" hoops in their natural wood color.  For this piece, we've stained the hoop.  If you'd like to do the same, we recommend thinned acrylic paint.
