#MakeSomeHappy: Take Heart Tin, LOVE NOTES

Valentine's Day is perfect reason to add creative color inside while the weather is  gray and gloomy outside.  Find some inspiration  in our Love Notes Take Heart Tin.

Spill the Love Notes buttons on a plate to brighten a table or work space in an instant.  We found the little felted wool hearts at Benzie Designs. They add extra dimension, and you know how we love buttons and wool together.

A store display of chocolate gift boxes reminded me of a stash of fluted candy papers--and I actually found them.  Three papers fit perfectly in the Take Heart Tin, but look more frilly when stacked two or three inside each other.

The "candies" are stacks of buttons sewn or tied together.  Save one spot for the Take Heart button.  Ours is cushioned on a bit of Peachy hand-dyed rayon ribbon from Lady Dot Designs.  This sweet little project took almost no time to assemble.

With a little felted wool and some baker's twine, hand sew the little LOVE pennant banner and add a few handmade buttons from the Button Lover's Club tin. Click HERE to find free instructions for putting together the pennant banner.
